A privately operated Windows desktop application for the controlled retrieval, preservation and review of selected documents from Google Drive.
What the application does
EvidenceReview supports the operator in obtaining selected documents from authorised Google Drive accounts, preserving downloaded copies, checking their byte integrity and recording source identifiers and acquisition history for later controlled review.
The Google Drive integration requests read-only access. It can view and download Drive files when authorised; it cannot edit or delete files in the Google account. The Google permission is broad enough to allow reading Drive files, while individual acquisition operations are limited by the operator's authorised selection.
Google Drive data and privacy
Google account information, selected file metadata and downloaded material are handled by the locally operated application, subject to its access and preservation controls. This public website is not connected to the operator's local evidence store and has no file-upload functionality.
